In September, I was featured at the meeting of the Corning Incorporated Management Group Assistants (CMGA) held at the Harbor Hotel in Watkins Glen, New York. I shared information with them on the therapeutic value of humor and how it makes the life and the workplace better.
I was very excited to have the opportunity to present to a new client and to meet Diane Card, HR Coordinator, who worked hard to make this trip possible for me, and for MJ to accompany me. Diane and members of the steering committee executed a top-notch professional conference with incredible proficiency and marvelous hospitality.
Did I mention the fantastic food and drink of the Fingerlake District of New York? Wow! I tried to count the number of wineries on the map, and lost count after 80. To say that we were "wined and dined" is a huge understatement. Our hosts thought of everything from a welcome basket to birthday cake for MJ and me. This was a trip to remember, and I hope, the first of many to Corning. Thanks, Gals!
