Saint Louisan Kathleen Passanisi Inducted into the Speaker Hall of Fame - 07/2004
(Phoenix, AZ, July 2004) Kathleen Passanisi, PT, CSP, CPAE, was honored at the National Speakers Association Annual Convention when she was elected to receive the Council of Peers Award for Excellence (CPAE). Admission into the CPAE Speaker Hall of Fame is a lifetime recognition award for speakers achieving excellence and distinctive professionalism. Inductees are evaluated by their peers through a rigorous and demanding process examining excellence in: material, style, experience, delivery, image, professionalism, and communication. Since 1977, only 173 speakers have been inducted into the CPAE Hall of Fame. Of this number, only 91 speakers have qualified for both the CPAE and Certified Speaking Professional (CSP) designations, and 30 are women. Honorary CPAE awards were bestowed upon President Ronald Reagan in 1981 and Secretary Colin L. Powell in 1999.
